Sajjangarh Biological Park (also known as Udaipur Biological Park) is a zoological garden located in the foothills of Sajjangarh Palace or Monsoon Palace, a popular tourist attraction in Udaipur. The park is 36 hectares in size and is home to a wide variety of wildlife. Sajjangarh Biological Park launched India’s First Augmented Reality Application to promote wildlife tourism and education about local flora and fauna.
There is a Zoo Hospital where sick animals can be cared for. Plastic covers/bags are not permitted inside the Udaipur Biological Park. The zoo has a Nutrition Center that caters to the feed needs of the zoo’s wild animals. The animals are cared for by a full-time experienced veterinarian and a trained compounder. In addition, CCTV cameras have been installed throughout the zoo to provide 24-hour surveillance.
Biological Park’s Highlights

History of Sajjangarh Biological Park
The Rajasthan Forestry and Biodiversity Project, with financial assistance from the Japan International Cooperation Agency, began construction in 2004-05. Prakash Javadekar, Minister of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change, then dedicated the park in 2015 and opened it for everybody.
