Mahashivratri at Surajkund
Welcome to the Mahashivratri procession with 11 thousand lamps at Surajkund Dham.
The night rising occurred in the presence of Mahant Avadheshanand Maharaj in Surajkund Dham, the Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary’s confluence of Earth and Hades. Around the Dham’s hills and the water, 11,000 lamps were illuminated.
During the Mahashivratri festival at Surajkund Dham, there were long lines of pilgrims all day.
Thousands of devotees travelled from all over the state, including Mewar and Marwar, to pay their respects to the Mahant of Surajkund. The entire Surajkund Dham was lit up with 11000 lamps in the evening. At 3 to 6 p.m., 9 p.m., and 12 p.m., Maha Aarti was held at Parshuram Mahadev Cave Temple for the darshan of devotees in Parashuram Mahadev.
At night, there was an ashes aarti in the monastery of Veron. Dudheshwar Mahadev Temple in Dudhtalai and Mandi Mahadev Temple in Charbhuja hosted the festivities.
